This week, I will be attending the Public Knowledge Project Conference at SFU’s Harbour Centre campus in Vancouver as part of my work for the Notes on Knowledge Mobilization project. The conference begins tomorrow with a keynote address by Professor John Willinsky, director of the Public Knowledge Project and author of The Access Principle: The Case for Open Access to Research and Scholarship. Professor Willinsky’s keynote will be webcast live tomorrow evening at 7pm (Pacific). I highly encourage readers to watch.
Throughout the three days of the conference, I will post daily reports here on my blog and put a more formal report of the event with my own thoughts and reflections for Canadian and environmental historians on the Notes on Knowledge Mobilization page. I may also do some updates during the conference on Twitter @seankheraj.
